Tuesday's Toys

David got this great gift for a late birthday present. It's way more demanding than it looks, but it's great to challenge the brain for higher thinking, and engineering concepts. He just likes watching the marbles go through it!

As I was building it for the (insert number here) time, I began thinking what a great analogy for life it is. We start at the bottom, figuring things out as we go.

We occasionally run into problems that have to be dealt with but those same problems send us on a different path, often way more interesting & exciting.

In the end, it's just another building, but it's OUR building. It's created with our own hands, and some guidance from above, and very much loved by those for whom we built it.
