Cookies for the Holidays

When my son was born I decided to start a tradition of baking cookies with him each year. Mainly to have something we could share, but also (I guess) to teach him lessons about life...the kind of lessons taught when you get burned cookies, when others have better cookies, etc... I guess I am learning too.

Random moments of recent weeks...

Escape....

Sometimes I look at toys and I see a whole world that I want to escape into. I just want to go away and live in that world and forget everything I carry in my heart. But I know I really don't want to forget everything, just some things.
